SYMPAATTI IN WINTER WONDERLAND
Our song ship Sympaatti has sailed up till now on summery open seas in South and Central Finland. Now, for the first time, its home port is situated in Lapland in the middle of snow and ice. Yet, there is no danger to have the channel freezing over. Our young singers with their warmth will certainly chase away the winter cold from the listeners' hearts, even though they are not able to melt the Nordic snowdrifts.
The wintry Rovaniemi at the Arctic Circle with the peculiar polar twilight invites young singers from around the world to sing together, to make new friends and to feel the unique athmosphere to be found nowhere else. At the same time they have the opportunity to open the Christmas season performing together with Santa Claus himself on his home ground.
